Hi, my name is Stephen Freiberg.  I was born at Plantation General Hospital, and have lived in south Florida all my life.  I believe that life is a beautiful gift, and I live to experience everything that it has to offer-and that's a lot!  I hold this belief because from the first day I was born I was introduced to the greatest thing in my life: my family.  Not only do I have an incredible mother and father, but I am also very close with my grandmother, and uncle.  From each of them I have an inherited something different: The value of honesty and integrity from my mother, optimism and my sense of humor from my father, kindness from my grandmother, and the power of hard work and determination from my uncle.  And of course I could never forget my sister, Marlee.  She is one of my closest friends, and can make me laugh like no other.  To all of you, you have made me the person I am today, and I love you so much.

So what's my story? I guess even as a kid I wanted to try everything.  By the time I was 12, I had been a baseball player, a soccer player, a competitive gymnast, and achieved a black belt in Tae Kwan Do.  But what I found my true talent to be, was sharing my talents with others.  And I accomplished this through dance.  I began dancing when I was 8, and have since danced in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Haiti, among others.  Before I new it, I was teaching dance and choreographing throughout south Florida. I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in biology, and am currently a student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where I am working toward my goal of a career in pediatrics. I don't have much free time, but when I do, I love to spend time with family and friends, listen to music, go to the gym, and go to the beach.  I love all sports and am a huge adrenaline junkie.

 But how did I find Pure Energy?  I guess in some ways they found me!  I attended one of Pure Energy's client appreciation parties as a guest of a friend, and without fail, I was the center of attention on the dance floor.  That very day, Pure Energy insisted that I came to work for them when I was older.  Subsequently, Pure Energy was the entertainment at my Bar Mitzvah and I kept in contact from then on.  And sure enough, the day I turned 16, I called them up, and was soon working as a dancer.  But as much fun as I was having dancing, one day for no particular reason, I asked one of the emcees, if I could give the mic a try; and I was hooked.  And the rest, as they say is history.

I love working at Pure Energy for two main reasons.  First, is because for however many hours I may be working a given night, I get to help show people just how fun life can be.  And secondly, because the people that make up Pure Energy are some of the greatest people I've ever met.  David Kiernan and Mike Sipe are two of my greatest role models, and every other emcee, dancer, DJ, or staff member is awesome in their own way.   We're all one big family.  We work together, we party together, and we sure laugh together!  My sister Marlee is one of our fantastic dancers, and my best friend Marcelo is an insanely talented emcee. So as you can see, Pure Energy is a family company in more ways than one.

I think that the reason people love Pure Energy, is because even though it may be for only a few hours, people feel like they are part of our family.  And for us entertainers, the feeling is mutual.  And this feeling of family and total joy, is what I feel we here at Pure Energy are all about.
