My name is David Kiernan. I was born and raised across the Atlantic in England. My wife, who I will introduce you to in the next paragraph, says I was raised on little house on the prairie. I don't know if I would go that far, but I owe much of my personal integrity and morality to my awesome Mum and Dad, Doreen and Michael Kiernan. I am not sure if I will ever have enough opportunities or forums to thank them for everything they have done for me and my brother Andrew, so I will certainly use this bio to say, thank you and I love you.

Graduating with a degree in Graphics, I was able to work by day for Hess and enjoy my passion for dancing in the clubs of London by night. On a vacation to Florida I met the person that would turn out to be my greatest inspiration and very best friend. My wife Kelly was my reason for moving to the US . We have enjoyed an incredible 16 years of marriage. We started our family 7 years ago. Liam and Anna have brought more meaning and joy to my life than I could ever have imagined.

OK, so how did I get into entertaining? Well if you ask my Mum she will say that I have always been entertaining. I had only been in Florida a few weeks when I was spotted dancing in a nightclub and asked if I wanted to dance at parties. I was hooked after my first Bat Mitzvah. I was being paid to be at a party, but I was overwhelmed by the gratitude from family and guests. Needless to say I soon moved on from Dancer to Master of Ceremonies and I never looked back. I met Mike Sipe in 1997 and together created Pure Energy Entertainment.

I am asked all the time what I enjoy most about what I do. From a purely selfish perspective there is the gratitude that I receive by being a master of ceremonies for any celebration. We all love to feel appreciated and as an entertainer it is a constant source of inspiration. The more thoughtful and longer lasting emotion is that in some way we are able to help create a memory that for many will be one they will cherish always.

I have been entertaining for a few years now and the only thing I know is that I am a better entertainer today than I was last year but not as good as I will be next year. It is a personal attribute that I hold true in every aspect of my life. I am keen to be a better entertainer, son, brother, husband, friend and father and use every day as a means to achieve that end.

In business, I am most proud of how Mike and I have taken the time to grow the company using our personal integrity to develop a business model that provides our clients with the opportunity to have the most unforgettable entertainment experience while creating an atmosphere of trust and togetherness. Although I can take some credit for our success I know it is our entertainers and their personal dedication that are the reason for making Pure Energy Entertainment everything that it is.
