Hi my name is Alberto Martinez Jr. Originally from New York and of Puerto Rican descent. I moved to Florida in 1996. Living in Florida music became a huge part of my life. I studied hard to become a musician, playing clarinet and saxophone for concert, jazz and marching bands. My greatest musical achievement was having the opportunity to play with the South Florida Philharmonic Orchestra.

South Florida has brought many opportunities into my life that I never expected. Music, modeling and in 2000 a friend introduced me to, as he described it, "the coolest job ever". I was introduced to Pure Energy Entertainment and started entertaining as a dancer. It has been an incredible journey for me. I have participated in hundreds of celebrations and I enjoy it more and more with every event. The growth that I have been able to achieve with the help of my peers has been both professional and personal.

Part of our emcee training is to understand that our job is not just about entertaining, but about creating a memory for the lives of the people we touch. This is the driving force to be an emcee; I wanted the responsibility that came with the opportunity and the chance to do exactly that.
